The journey from the University area with Airport Terminal 1 is 32 min. with an investment cost of 2,899 million euros, and easy access to public transportation to the different logistics areas and economic development as the City of Justice, Mercabarna or Fira Barcelona.
Instead of a normal single ticket, there will be a special new “airport ticket”, Bitllet Aeroport, wich will cost 4,50 euros
- More automated metro line:line 9/10 will have 31 km and 27 stations in operation. The metro network will cover a total of 122 km, 25% of which will be driverless.
- Metro to the airport:the metro will run all the way to the airport, a real achievement for Barcelona public transport. It will also line parts of the metropolitan area that previously had no metro, particularly industrial areas and others of major economic and social activity. The line will thus improve links within the metropolitan area.
- Stations on L9 Sud: Zona Universitària (University Area), Collblanc, Torrassa, Can Tries/Gornal, Europa/Fira, Fira, Parc Logístic, Mercabarna, Les Moreres, El Prat Estació, Cèntric, Parc Nou, Mas Blau, Aeroport T2 and Aeroport T1.
