SURF.- At Sant Carles de la Ràpita, you can ride aboard right in front of where the Ebre river joins the sea. You can also take a SUP Pilates class: a combination of yoga and Pilates on a surfboard in the sea.

DIVING.- To dive, you’ve got to come to the Medes Islands. The triangle formed by the islets of Tascó Petit, Tascó Gros and Carall Bernat has the largest concentration of fish in the entire El Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter Natural Park.

HORSE RIDING.- Whether you are an expert rider or you have no equestrian experience, exploring natural areas on horseback is quite an experience for the senses. It will be very easy for you to experience these sensations on a morning or an afternoon ride, as there are many horse riding centres that organise guided excursions on riding trails, where to walk around the trails to spend a few days on horseback with guided tours to explore the landscape and to relive routes that were, until not long ago, very crowded.

CYCLING.- There are many cycling trails that invite you to leave the big city and lose yourself in the rural landscapes of Paisatges Barcelona, and some of the prettiest you will find are undoubtedly in Lluçanès. Between the rivers Ter and Llobregat, between the central plains and the Pyrenees, Lluçanès has been from time immemorial a territory that is as beautiful as it is untamed. The Alt Penedès is another privileged territory to be explored on two wheels, thanks to the possibility of visiting the many wineries that open their doors to cyclists.

TREKKING.- One of the prettiest coastal footpaths is the one that connects Calella to Sant Pol de Mar. The Calella Lighthouse Interpretation Centre is well worth a visit. This old lighthouse keeper’s residence now houses a museum that offers visitors a fascinating insight into the operation of these structures, so essential for sailors. The Llobregat Delta is one of the most outstanding natural areas on the Costa Barcelona. You’re sure to love its hidden beauty spots, with a wide variety of flora and fauna. The route between the Remolar Pond and Viladecans Beach offers plenty of opportunities for observing sea birds, while the trail to the ruins of the Caserna dels Carabiners (old barracks of the carbine-armed cavalry) is ideal for exploring the typical vegetation of a dune landscape.
